They discuss everything from pranks pull on set to meaningful conversations that kept them going throughout long days filming.
Not only does it feature interviews with cast members from all nine seasons, but it also includes never-before-seen photos and behind-the-scenes stories about what really went on during production. It celebrates not only our favorite characters, but also the amazing relationships between them that made the show so special. I was especially excited to read about Jim and Dwight’s bromance, Michael and Dwight’s unlikely friendship, and Pam and Roy’s tumultuous relationship. It was great to see these relationships explored in such detail by both cast members and writers.
Special mention to Rainn Wilson’s introduction to the book. It was groundbreakingly hilarious. You’d laugh your sock out if you heard to the audiobook, because we get Rainn reading the introduction to us!
As if that weren’t enough reason to pick up this book, fans will be delighted to learn that it also includes essays from some of our favorite characters from our office including – Creed Bratton, Steve Carrel, Ellie Kemper, Ed Helms, Oscar Nunez, Jennifer Garner and many more. These essays provide a unique perspective on each character and offer insights into why they have endured in our hearts long after the show ended its run. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud while reading their hilarious stories – they truly made me feel like I was back in The Office!
